The Herd become the Hunters

I went to a retreat to teach a workshop on "Predators and our own Fierceness." Imagine yourself there with us sitting beside a mountain stream: you've indulged in hot tubs and much more bean salad than you'd ever eat at home. High above our group tower majestic fir trees punctuated by a raven's rude version of "Huh?"

We humans introduce ourselves around the circle. Then we break into pairs to play predator/prey. We're not allowed to hunt or use each other as food at this particular healing retreat center. But each person takes turns acting ferocious while their partner cowers. Someone has brought his little nephew Calvin, so a diminutive Tyrannosaurus Rex is represented in the melee.

The 1%

Afterwards we discuss: what are predators? Have you seen any in the wild? One guy Russ had been on a safari where a lion stared at him as if to attack; the tourist averted his eyes and hunkered down in the open-sided Jeep, returning home to read that a lion in the same part of Africa had indeed just dragged a woman out of a safari-tour Jeep and killed her. "Lions don't like when you stare," Russ concluded.

At the end of the workshop, I posited that many politicians are predators consuming us. They take our tax money to make themselves more powerful, often killing us in the process (via Iraq, pollution, for-profit medicine, etc.) One way to look at the current election is that the herd has woken up and is STARING at the predators. Our immense herd stretching across America is stamping our hooves, conveying, "We can trample you bloodthirsty pack. You may kill some of us. But you're causing mass extinction, ruining the climate, poisoning our home and picking us off anyway." The predators are pretending we don't exist. Right now we're all weighing the odds of surviving what could become a bloodbath.

At the mountain retreat, someone volunteers to play the predator while the rest of us hold hands to form a herd. The little boy Calvin drops hands -- breaking ranks -- and puts his fingers by his head to represent horns. He storms the predator alone while the rest of us realize horns are a GREAT idea.







In this Primary, a solo hacker Guccifer2 has revealed crimes like racketeering that the ill-named Democratic Party perpetrated to cheat voters. We'd already seen that Voters' Registrations were altered to prevent votes for Bernie Sanders from being counted. Even beyond such voter suppression, Exit Polls and other evidence prove America's elections are rigged... with OUR MONEY.

I notice comfortable bourgeouis "progressives" now rationalizing their own inaction by telling each other "All politicians are criminals. That's normal." Such liberals are known as weasels.

Did you feel a loss of innocence this election year? Not only do we see the Emperor naked, we see him dancing on a stripper pole... drone-killing children in our name... and promoting the Jabba the Hutt of corrupt politicians fracking our delicate planet.

What's a polite term for Hillary Clinton's S#!T List? At any rate, her Sh--List has been documented since her husband was President: I first read about it in the old insider novel about the Clintons, “Primary Colors.” Clintons keep track of who slights them (or licks their boots) to ensure what lawyers call Quid Pro Quo, although in the Clintons' case it's apparently “cross me and I'll f** you forever.”

Thanks to Hillary's campaign, We the People have inadvertently amassed our own Sh--List. Many of us started it when the establishment Democratic Party structured the primary debates to prevent anyone from actually seeing Bernie Sanders on television. “Who is this Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and why do I have to tune in at 4AM on a Sunday to get informed about the candidates?” CNN and MSNBC were next on our list when we saw how biased their affiliated debate moderators were. “Rachel Maddow used to be progressive, and now she's a shameless reactionary corporate shill,” we noticed.

Unions like AFL-CIO, why allow members to vote? Instead their managements endorse the status-quo elitist Clinton who opposed the $15 Minimum wage before she flipflopped and again opposed the $15 Minimum wage.


Organizations we'd respected lined up to compete for the Credibility Lost prize. "Human Rights Campaign" endorsed Clinton even though she'd been the last moderate in America to condone gay marriage, never mind her admiration for Nancy Reagan's attitude toward AIDS victims which was, “Let them die.”

Easier to comprehend was Planned Parenthood and NARAL opposition to Bernie Sanders: Bernie's Medicare-for-All universal healthcare would eliminate the need for dedicated abortion providers.

And also Clinton is an abortion of feminism. Yet feminists like Gloria Steinem pretended Clinton was accomplishing something for women beyond being USA's Margaret Thatcher-Lite. For the record, #ImWithHer, it isn't feminist to shriek “sexism” when Bernie looks side-eyed at a lying politician. Nor is it feminist to supply bombs (in exchange for cash to the Clinton Foundation) to Saudi Arabia, a despotic kingdom known for imprisoning women for driving a car. [Side note: Madeleine Albright has a special place in Hell.]

Bernie Sanders has been a Civil-Rights hero since 1963; Rep. John Lewis disgraced his own legacy to swiftboat Bernie & sell out to corporate masters.

It's easy to point at transgressions. But can you prove the absence of something? Mainstream media sure did. The “BernieBlackout” rolled over America as if the power grid only lit up for the economic 1%. New York Times avoided his name except to smear him, even editing a published article; we got a screengrab of the before-and-after. NYTimes paved the way for spin and outright lies to become normal “journalism.” Washington Post (owned by Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com) became a laughingstock when they published sixteen anti-Sanders hit-pieces in sixteen hours. Even British news sources BBC and the Guardian vied to maintain the status quo for income inequality and social injustice by deleting any positive reflections on Bernie, so by the time he was invited to speak at the Vatican, his supporters were used to scrambling to get the real story online from working-class rags like the UK's Daily Mail. Most shocking/not-shocking was that PBS & NPR (Public Broadcasting System & National Public Radio) are in the pocket of the rich and are not actually public at all, unless by “public” you mean “puppeted by the Koch Brothers and pushing oligarchy in between greenwashed puff pieces.”

Truly surprising was you and me getting censored by Twitter. “Why isn't my tweet in my friend's feed?” It's chillingly personal when corporate suffocation of my voice is proven by a blank screenshot. Twitter Corporation is owned (and pwned) by millionaires who support #WhichHillary and #WhichHillaryCensored and #TwitterCensorship.

Do citizens of America get respect when we stand up for democracy? We're trying to return some dignity and even integrity to the government for which we pay with our tax dollars. Yet even progressive entertainers like John Oliver, Stephen Colbert and BillMaher see fit to take cheap shots and kick “the little people” while we're down. They patronize us? Paul Revere's heroism in our first revolution was cinched by galloping on a horse to warn colonists that British soldiers were coming to shoot people.

Galloping is thrilling. But it turns out that, to be a hero in our current "political revolution," I have to look at the math of exit polls.

I Don't Like Math. 

Reassuringly, it's apparent that no-one in mainstream media likes math either. For instance, to count the delegates that Clinton has compared to Bernie Sanders, they look at the amount and decide, "That doesn't look like enough, so let's throw a steaming pile of superdelegates in there too" (even though superdelegates don't vote till the convention at the end of July.)

Imagine if taxpayers did math like that: in last year's itemized deductions, you throw numbers at the IRS that represent what you'll probably spend later. We peons would never dream of attempting what corrupt wheeler-dealers like the Clintons commit exponentially.

"Exponentially" is a mathematics word! I like words. And pictures.

Nonetheless, like a true hero, I did check the math. [Full disclosure: I had an ischemic brain injury where I need to practice calculations to maintain my ability.] I agree with Richard Charnin: "Adjustments made to force the final....exit poll to match the recorded vote.... are mathematically impossible."

Lee Camp's raw data isn't "corrected"

Big media goes out of its way to convince us that exit poll numbers don't matter, even though they're what the United Nations and our own State Department use to validate elections in former dictatorships worldwide. Polls expose when voting machines are hacked. Why pretend exit polls require more than simply asking someone, "For whom did you just vote?" Why persuade voters to accept a charade?

Biased Republicans don't merit analysis. More complex are biased liberals who want people to get involved in politics. We want to stop cynicism and engage all citizens in the democratic process. We want everyone to vote, even in a rigged election.

....NOW can I go gallop a horse?

How rigged? The majority of New York City Board of Elections Commissioners knew about the purging of nearly 160,000 residents from the voting rolls as early as July of last year.

Evidence of fraud is overwhelming. Thank goodness some lawsuits are emerging that maybe will expose the extent of criminals misusing our tax dollars.

(Forgive my superficiality: it's just a hormonal reflex, like my attraction to thickets of facial hair and to shirtless, sweaty construction workers.)

But hip girth isn't why I find Donald Trump repulsive.

Nonetheless, I may vote for tRump.

If our national hero Bernie Sanders is side-lined, electing Trump may be the only way to prevent entrenched corruption in our government from becoming completely intractable. We all know Clinton's propensity to break the law. On scrutiny, the devil we know is looking as neo-fascist as the insurgent devil.

Clinton's goons silence dissent; the real difference from Trump is that we liberal Bernie supporters aren't armed to defend ourselves from them.

Election fraud by the Democratic Party may not be worse than the GOP's. But it certainly isn't better. Hillary Clinton has adopted Machiavellian campaign tactics; evidently pilfered Bernie's database; hired a mercenary army of trolls to shut down democratic discourse; flaunted election violations in multiple states; and now her numbers look suspicious as hell. (See #ExitPollGate on Twitter.) At least Trump didn't rig voting machines.

Nevada's Convention on May 14 removed any doubt. Trump is heinous; Clinton however will end democracy and squelch any chance of restoring honor or taxpayers' rights to our government.

Bernie's greatest appeal -- one reason he gets crowds of 10,000s where Clinton's lucky to get 200 -- is his insistence that we can revive real democracy. Rigged elections destroy the inclination for citizens to vote and -- unless they themselves are corrupt -- repels them from participating in our government.

However upbeat, idealistic and pure we'd prefer to remain, we need to take election fraud into account. That's why I'm trolling around with my petition and steeling myself to vote for Trump in November.

I'm not the only dedicated but anxious Bernie supporter who's starting to think this way:

Trump would keep us agitated and active instead of defeated. Apathetic cynicism is anathema to civilization. Hillary's "fog of lies and payola discourage civic action," I say in my petition: "Big media's collusion with President Clinton#2 would perpetuate the illusion of democracy that numbs voters into passivity." We wouldn't have that problem with populist Trump and his outrageous behavior that mainstream television won't stop displaying. He'll keep us protesting.

Furthermore, checks and balances can rein in someone like him but not the juggernaut "Clinton Machine" and the bag of ruthless tricks on which Hillary Clinton relies. And he opposes toxic trade deals like the TPP.

The 1% owns our government now. Maybe our "political revolution" can ally with genuine Trump supporters -- those belligerent yokels -- to wrest back voting rights for the 99%. They too notice rigged media and election fraud. Trump's chanting hordes frighten me. But where America's left and right are "the spineless versus the shameless," Trump voters are brawn we might enlist for the ultimate good of the whole country and (in the light of Climate Change, wars, et cetera) the whole world.

I'm a lifelong Democrat but as soon as the Primary's over I'll join the exodus of disgusted Bernie supporters. Schooled by Karl Rove and David Brock, the Democratic Party has grown as depraved as the Republican frat house. Clinton has slandered Bernie repeatedly including lying that he opposes Planned Parenthood (he has a 100 percent rating from them) and lying that he opposes gun control (he has a "D-" rating from the NRA.) Proven by the hacker Guccifer 2.0, the DNC's sabotaging Bernie Sanders is a direct attack on American democracy and, as such, amounts to treason. We must do everything possible to derail their toxic gravy train... including voting for the (racist, sexist, bizarre) Trump. Bite this bullet: think of the fun that comedians will have.

It's wretched that Hillary Clinton stinks even worse.

At the very least, please share this blog and/or my petition so establishment Democrats will hear about it. Post it in response to the #MillionDollarTrolls. That'll rile 'em! It's empowering to stand up to the Clintons' arrogance and subvert their dubious narrative that "At least we aren't as bad as Trump!" Our threat to vote for Trump could even blackmail the Democrats to stop sabotaging Bernie Sanders and democracy.

I adore Bernie and will be beyond heartbroken if he isn't on the ticket in November. Election fraud is precluding his success.
