ALL topics were to be on the liberal side or they were simply wrong or corrupt. Republicans were evil and rich. They started wars. They were "racist." The last three years have been a detox and deprogramming period from the liberal machine. There has been no safety net, no comfortable place, no 12 step program to help me through this process ..... But detoxing I am, and from what I'm experiencing, I will actively speak against liberalism for the rest of my life. It is a cancer. Can't say it any plainer than that. A cancer that spread and is malignant.'

"As a registered Independent, I’ve always tried to look at candidates objectively. In 2008 and 2012, I voted for Obama. In 2016, I was a hardcore, never Hillary, Bernie supporter. Because I was with the HUGE crowd of supporters at Bernie’s 2016 Sacramento rally, I was angry and confused when the MSM blatantly lied and downplayed the number of people who attended. When I watched the DNC rig the primary for Hillary, it completely opened my eyes. Long story short, I ended up voting for Jill Stein.

When Trump got elected, I was genuinely afraid for the future of our country. I found myself completely disgusted by anyone who supported him. Due to my concerns, I started paying A LOT more attention to politics. Because MSM lied to me about Bernie, I started to independently research the news being reported. The more I researched, the more I started to realize that things were not as they seemed.
Most people don’t realize that only six corporations control almost everything we see, hear, and read. Most people aren’t aware that in 2013, Obama signed an NDAA bill that packaged an end to the Smith-Mundit Act which prevented the government from using propaganda against its own citizens, thus enabling the government to legally produce propaganda again. If you don’t believe me, please research the Smith-Mundit Act and Obama’s NDAA bill. Please actually read them yourself instead of relying on MSM or biased fact checkers to interpret the information for you.
In all honesty, had you told me three years ago that I would be a Trump supporter, I would’ve laughed in your face... but here I am. And I’m not alone. There are MANY truth-seeking former Berners, just like me, who are going to be voting for Trump in 2020.
I urge everyone to question everything they *think* they know and start researching the facts for themselves.
Try watching a Trump rally or listen to him give a speech so that you can determine for yourself if he’s being accurately portrayed by the MSM.
Talk to people who have walked away from the Democrat party and ask them why they left.
Never forget there are always two sides to every story.

At the very least, please don’t allow yourself to be so blinded by Trump hatred that you’re unwilling to have a civil conversation with someone who doesn’t share your political beliefs. You might be surprised by what you learn if you step outside of your echo chamber with an open mind and an open heart." ~ Carrie H.
